Decided to go for virtual bike ride on the indoor trainer.  Using Rouvy I rode a 35-mile course around Lake Isabella in central California.  It was my longest virtual ride.  It took me 1 hour 56 minutes and I burned 1200 calories.  In running distance, that is roughly equivalent to 10 miles.  How did I estimate that? 

The second half of the ride felt like I was in the later miles of a half marathon.  I was fighting the urge to just stop.  But I kept going and now I feel more accomplished.  My right hip and glutes are sore. Throughout the day, after sitting for a while, my right hip was stiff and sore when I first got up. Oddly though, after walking around a bit it loosened up and felt much better.  I am not sure how to interpret that.  I’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see how it feels.
