PT exercise day :(. I tackled it head on. 17 exercises and stretches. Many with 3 sets of 10 reps. Some with 3 sets of 10 reps on each leg. The goal today was to pick up the pace, less pausing between sets while maintaining integrity of the exercise. It still took me 97 minutes.
My right hip was sore afterwards. I’m really starting to feel it in the glutes on both sides, which I think is a good thing. But my right hip was achy for the rest of the day. I just keep reminding my myself of the many folks on YouTube who have stated that it takes time and consistency, don’t get discouraged.
But today was one of those days where my mind jumped to next January. If I feel like this after the half-marathon, how do I manifest the strength and will to get up the next morning and cover 26.2 miles? Worse, what if I feel like this after the 10K? I remind myself that it has only been 2 months since real physical therapy started. I have another month before I fall into despair.
